    Hi there,

Just wondering how everyone is with their Vitamin D Deficiency especially now we have some nicer weather and can get some natural Vit D!!

I am still having lower back pain (Gluteous Medius) and right hip pain and the physio has signed me off and asked me to contact my GP to be refered for X-Ray & MRI Scan to investigate further.

He said that he had never heard of someone taking Vitamin D meds needing to also take Magnesium & Calcium and I would need to bring this up with GP (I forgot!!) but he couldn't see it being the cause of my pain despite the article Barbarian posted in the other Vitamin D post stating that it is important to take them as it can damage bones if you don't - I need to investigate this further obviously but worth asking your own GP's should you need Vit D Treatment.

I was also NEVER re-tested to ensure my levels have gone up so how the bloody hell do they not know that all this pain is due to being deficient STILL????!!!!

I have been given Paracetamol - Ibruprofen - Naproxen - Diclofenac - Co-Codamol and now trying Tramadol for the pain and I can STILL feel it and these are strong buggers I can tell you and the next thing to try is Pain Patches which contain Morphine!!! Am I just totally resilliant to pain killers now???

I look forward to reading your updates

    Hi,
My gp is trailing some high strength Vit D, which I have taken, and now due to have bloods checked.
They seem to have helped with the fatigue; the pain remains - the worst being my feet and shoulders, strange combination; like this whole syndrom.
I think the sun is helping,I get out in it as much as possible, take my sleep in a garden chair these days.
I also take co-codamol, tramadol and amitritlyne, along with calcium, treatments for asthma, sometimes I think I will rattle.
Might be worth getting more info on the Vit D, I was unaware of side-effects..... think I do some research.
Let you know if I find anything

I am exhausted, in constant pain and fighting to breath.................!!!!
