Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have written a decent update here and I wanted to share a few things that I believe have really helped me turn a corner recently. I went back to work end-march 2011 after being off for six months. It was a v gradual phased return and I gradually got back to full time hours by June/July and working 3 days in the office and 2 at home. I'd say from July to end October I was back to 80%. However I would now say I'm 90-95% and have felt a huge fairly fast improvement in the past few weeks. The are a few things I put this down to:

    - Magnesium citrate - this is top of the list as I SWEAR it has been almost miraculous. If those of you reading this only try one thing - do this!! Â*I already knew how important magnesium was, but had been using the oil spray which I just didn't think was giving me a big enough dose. So I did some research and bought something called 'Magnesium Supreme' which is the citrate form. It's much more absorbable and wow did I notice a difference!Â*

    - vitamin D - this really is a wonder vitamin and SO important. Latest guidelines are we need much more than the RDA. I take drops that are 4000iu. That's pretty much the minimum a lot of nutritionalists are recommending now. It boosts the immune system and so many other things - google it! Drops are best - under the tongue is best way to absorb.

    - Sulfur - I came across this as I did some research about the fact that I always feel so much better when I'm on holiday somewhere sunny. The type of vitamin D you produce via your skin in the sun is 'vitamin d3 sulfate'. So if you live somewhere where you can't get vit d from the sun you need to supplement vit D3 (see above) but also take sulfur - or MSM as its called in supplement form. This article explains it much better than I can but i really think its helped me

    - 'Green Magic' by Proto Col (google it!) I was taking chlorella anyway as I think I have metal poisoning from my fillings. But this has tons of other great stuff too and it really seems to give me a daily boost.

I hope all of this may help someone. I can't promise it will help you, all I can do is share my experience and it's up to you if you think it's worth a go. All I can say is I'm now almost back to where I was - working hard and enjoying a lively social life. And I honestly don't think I would be like this without these. I also take a bunch of other things - see my older posts if you want details!

    Take care
    Px
