Hi there,
Let me just start off by saying that anything you read here should not be taken as a diagnosis, it's important that your GP is made aware of all your symptoms. Tell them that you had a viral infection, and that these symptoms aren't like anything you have experienced as a result of anxiety before. Even tell them that you have been doing your own research and you think you may have PVFS, that's the only way I could get my GP to think about it as an option.
That said, your list of symptoms is almost EXACTLY the same as my list, and it certainly sounds post-viral. You didn't mention what happens if you get exercise though? I find there are two things that make my symptoms a whole lot worse, and I'm sure most people on here would agree. The first is over-doing it. At my worst I couldn't go for a 20-minute walk to the shops without being written off and basically bed-bound for 3 days, coupled with all the symptoms in your list getting a lot worse. Secondly stress/worry/anxiety makes everything worse too. It's very important to stay positive, this is possibly one of the most frustrating diseases to have because (as you have described) most of us are okay mentally and WANT to be able to go out and do things, but it is also a disease that you can and will beat with a bit of R&R.
Hope that helps,
James.
