Hi everyone, my name is Marion.

I have been feeling so low and tearful the last few days that I thought I would post on the site and get it off my chest.

I had a sore throat back in December 2010 with feelings of fatigue but felt well after a couple of weeks. Looking back I had intermittent feelings of suddenly feeling dizzy, tinnitus, blurred vision, tiredness and 3/4 day sore throats.

In September 2011 I knew I was getting tired but put it down to working hard and then one day the sore throat came back with a vengeance. This "virus" seems to go in a cycle. 1.5 weeks sore throat 1.5 weeks extreme dizziniess, on off sore ears and then 1.5 weeks fatigue where I can''t do anything. Weak limbs etc. After that I am left with most of the symptoms not so extreme but enough to stop me do anything apart from working 2 days a week and (I am a therapist) doing about 5 clients Weds and Thursday. Fridays/Sat/Sunday is when I do nothing apart from rest. The brain fog is terrible.
At the beginning of December the sore throat can back and the whole thing went through exactly the same cycle.

I am feeling terribly ill and the people I work for 2 days a week are not interested apart from telling me last week that I needed to be at work.

I understand that I need to rest and compared to some people I am. Apart from driving the few minutes down the road on a monday and tuesday I havenet been out of the house for 4.5 months. i have even begun to think that I might have to sell my house, give up my private practice which I have built up over 10 years and move in with my mother so that I don't have any worries about having to make money to pay my bills and mortgage.l

I thought Dr Sarah Mayhill's web site was the best place to get help and info. I have booked in to see a chinese herbalist next week (I have heard great things about him over the years). He has successully treated these type of symptoms in the past and I was heartened to hear him say that if there was no improvment within a few months then he would recommend I stop as it wasnt' working for me. I did start to see a homeopath in November and as it takes quite a while for homeopathy to work I thought I would try some other treatments to see if they could help.l Also seeing a Kinesiologist. More to hear what she has to say but also give me someone to talk to on a weekly basis as family and friends don't really understand.

Would love to hear from people. Has anyone else got symptoms that go in a cycle?? The chinese herbalist said he thought I had got a virus that other people get and then it has got blocked in the system and is going round and round. Sounds and feels like that to me.

    Love and light
    Marion

    Hi.

That's when mine all starting, towards the end November/start of December 2010, from viral pericarditis, which was diagnosed with a heart scan by a cardiologist.

Since then I've been constantly dizzy, had palpitations, chest pains, breathing problems, feeling weak some days and a sore throat early on in the illness. As well as running mind, aching joints and muscles from time to time and nausea most mornings.

I occassionally feel low too every so often like yourself but try my hardest to keep calm and try not to worry about any symptoms that change because you will get better!

I'm seeing a homeopathy who's extremely good so I think that's definitely worth a try - she also helps with which vitamins and minerals are best to take for me and any other remedies that could help.

Hope some of this helps or at least comforts you a little more!
